Bam Adebayo is with Team USA, as we discussed in our previous article. Adebayo scored 17 points and had one of his best games with Team USA in Team USA’s dominant 105-79 win over Team Serbia. Additionally, the Heat’s Summer League team is 3-0 in Vegas and just beat the Mavericks’ Summer League team 92-79. Without any further ado, let’s dive deeper into these topics.

Heat 2024 Offseason Part 9: Bam Adebayo Scores 17 Points with Team USA

Team USA remains undefeated in their ongoing warmup games prior to the Paris Olympics. They are now 3-0 after dominating Team Serbia in a 105-79 win. Bam Adebayo is crucial to Team USA’s defense, as expected.

However, Adebayo has begun to fit in on offense, as well. Adebayo scored 17 points on 6/9 shooting, including three three-point shots, in Team USA’s win over Team Serbia. He also had seven rebounds.

Additionally, Bam Adebayo continues to play his typically excellent defense. Against Team Serbia, Adebayo helped Team USA hold Nikola Jokic to 16 points on 6/19 shooting and 11 rebounds. Jokic is one of the best players in the world and his jersey’s popularity reflects that. Also, Team Serbia could win a medal at the Paris Olympics, so this is an impressive win for Team USA.

Anthony Davis and Joel Embiid also helped with the challenge of defending the Nuggets’ superstar center. In any case, Bam Adebayo continues to develop chemistry with the other Team USA players. Given how Team USA has performed so far, it appears likely that they will win gold at the Paris Olympics.

The Heat’s Summer League Team Continues Winning in Vegas

Winning seems to be a theme for the Heat right now. The Heat’s Summer League team beat the Mavericks’ Summer League team 92-79 yesterday and are now 3-0 in Vegas. Kel’el Ware was the Heat’s top scorer in this game with 24 points and added 10 rebounds, three blocks, and a steal, as well.

Pelle Larsson had 13 points but shot poorly in this game. Isaiah Stevens had 12 points and eight assists. Stevens continues to make a strong case to get one of the Heat’s two-way roster spots. Additionally, Alondes Williams, who had nine points, five assists, and one steal, had the highlight of the game with a monster dunk early in the fourth quarter.

It is good to see the Heat’s Summer League team play well. Hopefully, they continue winning and the players continue showing signs of development.
