The Zubimendi deal is done. Martin Zubimendi will join Arsenal for slightly over 60 million euros. The Spanish midfielder was integral for Real Sociedad last season and was part of the Spanish national team that won Euro 2024. Signing him will help improve Arsenal’s midfield, especially in light of Thomas Partey’s potential exit. This is a necessary transfer, even though many focus on Arsenal’s need for a new striker.
Thomas Partey’s Future Is Undecided
It is unclear whether or not Thomas Partey will remain with Arsenal or leave as a free agent. The Gunners have discussed a contract extension with Partey for a while.
