We’re into week 8 of the summer transfer window, so there are more Arsenal summer transfers and rumors to discuss. There are no new completed transfers yet, but there is still plenty to cover. Let’s get into week 8 of Arsenal summer deals.
Arsenal Summer Deals: Outgoing Arsenal Transfers
Hector Bellerin has been heavily linked with a move away from Arsenal. He played well on loan at Real Betis and wants to return to them. It seemed that Real Betis might not buy him, but now Real Betis seemed to have changed their mind. A fee of 15-20 million pounds could see him return to the La Liga side on a permanent basis.
Torreira has been featured in these articles on several occasions. A number of clubs have reportedly registered an interest in him. The latest club to do so is Valencia of La Liga. This move makes sense both for him and Arsenal. Valencia could likely get this deal done for about 15 million pounds.
Arsenal Summer Deals: Bernd Leno
Leno’s move to Fulham looked likely. That is why Arsenal left him out of their preseason squad. However, this transfer has suffered a setback as Arsenal wants 15 million pounds for Leno. Fulham offered 10 million pounds for Leno, but Arsenal rejected it. Nevertheless, this transfer could still go through after some more negotiating.
Incoming and Potential Incoming Arsenal Players
Arsenal Summer Deals: Oleksandr Zinchenko
Arsenal’s signing of Zinchenko appears to be imminent. Reportedly, Zinchenko was keen on the move and wanted to reunite with Mikel Arteta. Arsenal will pay 30 million pounds with another 2.5 million pounds in potential future add-ons.
Zinchenko can play both at left-back and in midfield. A medical seems to be all that remains to be done to complete this transfer. Zinchenko will likely soon be wearing an Arsenal shirt. This is some excellent business by Arsenal.
Lucas Paqueta has remained one of Arsenal’s top midfield targets in recent weeks. According to mediafoot, Paqueta is interested in moving to Arsenal if Arsenal submits an appropriate offer for him. Reportedly, 34 million pounds would be enough to secure the transfer of Paqueta from Lyon to Arsenal.
Leroy Sane is another Arsenal target. Arsenal reportedly turned their interest toward him after missing out on Raphina. With Gnabry and Coman both signing contract extensions with Bayern Munich, Sane could be available for transfer. However, signing Sane would likely cost at least 65 million pounds. This deal appears less likely, but we will see what happens.
Arsenal Look to Complete Zinchenko Signing
Arsenal has not yet completed another signing this week. However, it seems like Zinchenko signing for Arsenal is only a matter of time, as long as he passes his medical. A player of Zincheko’s quality will certainly improve Arsenal’s squad. You might be able to feel more optimistic about betting on Arsenal now.
